Supplements and assisted pregnancy

User Profile
Hi, I've just turned 40 and trying to have a 3rd child. Can you use Clomid with supplements such as omega 3, flax seed and evening primrose? I am currently on Provera 10mg for ten days, and will then follow with Clomid (3 a day from day 5 to day 9).

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum

There is no documented evidence of taking Clomid with supplements such as omega 3, flax seed and evening primrose causing any harm. However, at your age and since you are going for assisted pregnancy, talk to your specialist before taking them.

Your treating specialist should know what all you are taking, even if they are supplements. Hope this helps. Take care!
