User Profile

I have been married for two years, On first year of the marriage I was on birth control pills, and then for six months on we had protected sex, and now after trying for a couple of months I have been diagnosed that I have high prolactine levels and the reason that eggs are not being formed.

I have also irregular peroids, the cycle comes almost same time but I bleed two days and third day is light day, fourth and fifth day is slight bleeding day, sixth day is almost clear and 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th days I see dark brown spotting.

Please suggest me what needs to be done to restore normal cycles.

Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms that you describe could be suggestive of possibility of hyperprolactenemia along with presence of PCOS being cause for irregular periods. Consider visiting your gynecologist/obstetrician for further evaluation and assistance. Get started on treatment as appropriate (as indicated by examination findings and investigation results) to help with regulating periods and getting pregnant. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
