stuck in my head constantly?

User Profile
hello, im 16 years old and am male.
ive been diagnosed with adhd a while back as well.

i just recently wathed a fairytale movie called tangled.
now i know this may sound odd and possibly quite sad, but..

ive been feeling depression because i know i wont be able to live such a life an i feel a wanting for that kind of romantic story to happen for me.

now, everytime i bring this up, i usually feel quite depressed as well, and i have this movie stuck in my head constantly.

im just curious, is there a term used for this?
and is there anything i could take that may decrease this?
it almost seems as a subconcious issue.
i try to force my mind to believe that it isnt real and to accept it all but i seem to have a slight issue with it.

ive had this happen in the past and what ive done is just wait it out but i would like to find out and see if there a faster way.
no i am not suicidal lol,
i have tried watching the movie many times to try drillin it into my head.

I am not aware of any medical term that can define your symptoms, neither is there a diagnosis. However, if you find yourself getting stuck with similar issues, you might consider Cognitive Therapy to explore your inner thoughts and beliefs about the whole issue.

Hope this helps.
