I am about 3 1/2 months along. I have been feeling very stressed out lately. I have gotten in fights with my boyfriend, and I have been feeling like I cant control my moods. I get so upset crying, and I would call this stress. I have read up and heard that stress causes micarriages. I have been having cramping, not heavy, just light ones on and off. There is no blood present, and it hasnt been agonizing. I just want to hear some sort of relief. Could the cramps be normal for how far along I am? Could stress cause the cramping, and no blood. Is blood always present during a miscarriage? I would really appreciate your responses.

I've had two miscarriages, and cramping accompanied both of mine followed by blood...both times within 24 hours. I was only 5-6 weeks along tho...so not sure if that makes a difference. My guess is that the cramping you're feeling it due to everything "stretching out." I remember that feeling too, cuz I was SOOO afraid I was going to miscarry AGAIN and went full-term and delivered a very happy, healthy baby girl. Keep a close eye on it...and if you have ANY serious concerns, go get checked out. That's what the doc is there for. There is no such thing as a stupid question/concern when it comes to pregnancy. Hang in there! Praying all goes well for you. And TRY not to stress...as this isn't the best thing for you or the baby. (Easier said than done--especially when pregnant--I know!) Wink Best wishes....

i wont know what im having until week 20 or so. But I was just paranoid that if I get cramps once in a while, that IM having a MC! its just so scary thinking about that kind of stuff. I havent had anything severve, I just had light cramping every once in a while, and I have had NO bleeding what so ever. Hopefully, no blood, means no serious problems!

Hi Marie,

It's good to hear from you again. You sound like you're really stressed and that could just be causing the stomach cramping along with the baby growing..Try no to worry too much..In the end, everything always works out fine. Have you been going for regular doctor visits? Tell your bf that it's not healthy for you or the baby to fight or argue right now. Take a warm bath at the end of the busy day and try to get plenty of sleep. Eat healthy and you will be fine.

Alright. Thank you Wendyrs. I have been trying to avoid the arguing. And it is VERY frustrating that my boyfriend doesnt understand how bad stress is. Whenever I get upset I try to just go on a walk by myself to get away from it and take a break, and calm down. Warm baths are amazing after stressing out bad.

Marie, your body is changing and being young it can throw it for a tizzy. Your stress level will continue because of the responsibilities you are embracing Smile Just learn how to control it. I know easier said than done. According to my sisters I was a nightmare. I was moody! Are you exercising? Remember what I told you about all that reading? Some is good but you cannot worry about every lil thing that can possibly happen.

That's good..My advice to you in order to avoid the arguments is to take a moment and take a deep breath and think before saying whatever you're going to say to him. If he should start an argument tell him to do the same. You're both stressed and hopefully you can work on this together..Get some meditation CDs and ask him to join you in meditating..trust me it helps..Also, go easy with the exercise..Walking is good and there is special yoga for pregnant women that is also great...Check with your doctor before doing anything really strenuous.
