Hi all,

I asked my doctor to prescribe me beta blockers for my stress related problems. I was wondering if there are other people on it. I'm using Dilatrend. I started today with 6.25mg after breakfast and after a week I can take that dose 3 times a day.

according to things I read it will stop my adrenaline from going crazy. Anyone experience?

Thank you for asking!
I seriously doubt the capabilities of the doctor who prescribed carvedilol for your anxiety and stress disorders. He can lose his license for that. Only low doses of propanolol upto 10 mg are advised. Get to a psychiatrist and let him help you with it.Medicines is not the only option. There are many psychotherapies and and rehabilitation therapies for this stress and anxiety. Prescribing carvedilol in a dosage of a Heart failure and hypertensions and angina is not a wise decision though it does and do the beta blockage induced relief but that is the wrong way with collateral damage.
Take care
