Stopping a period with hormonal pills

I want yo know if can i stop my period before will come? and how can i do ?

A period can be stopped before its due date by administering hormonal pills which are similar to contraceptive pills containing progestogen. Bleeding commences again after stopping the pills after two to three days. Similarly, normal contraceptive pills can be taken well before the commencement of a normal period. They can be continued for two cycles. They are useful but not recommended on a regular basis unless contraception is also desired.
