I have had 5 Gallbladder attacks over the past 5 years. After of course, eating something with fat in it. I know this is crazy but, in all my attacks, I immediately stick my finger down my throat and throw up. All the grease comes out and instant relief!!!! But be sure to follow up with the doc to get your gallbladder removed. It worked for me. I had a ultrasound done and have hundreds of gallstones. Dr. says the lining is still thin, but i should get it removed.

The only definitive treatment for symptomatic gallstones is cholecystectomy (surgical removal of the gallbladder and gallstones).

Forcing yourself to vomit can have a variety of negative consequences, including inflammation of the esophagus (esophagitis) and nutritional deficiencies, to name a few.

Better to remain on a very low-fat diet, and to schedule your surgery.
