Stopped Duphaston Inbetween delay in periods

Hi,
Im married and trying for baby.I was told by my gyn to take duphaston from 16th to 25th day of periods.This month i took duphaston only for 6days instead of 10days due to ill health.Now my periods is supposed to come on Jul 25th.two days delay.what could be the reason? is it because of stopping duphaston and not completing the full course?

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out.

Duphaston is basically hormonal progesterone which is useful for conception and maintaining pregnancy.

Delay in periods in your case can be due to pregnancy since you are trying to conceive. You should do a urine for pregnancy test (ideally after 1 week of your missed periods date) or get your serum HCG levels checked.
