Stop breathing while falling asleep!

Just had sleep apnea test, showed it was very mild, so probably don't have it. What I do have is something bad wrong! Been using the full cpap mask for about 4 nights now and only to find it makes the condition I have worse. As I fall asleep, I abruptly wake up from not breathing! It is violent and very scary, so going back to sleep is difficult. This happens when I'm very tired. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I read that several other folks have this and they sound identical me. I have low blood pressure, allergies and asthma, but is under control. I exercise regular and I'm skinny. I'm afraid that someone will find me dead and think that I have been strangled!

Best to talk to your doctor about this. There are a number of adjustments you can make to a cpap that might help.
