Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Excessive intake of tea or caffeine itself causes gastritis. Consider visiting your doctor/healthcare provider for further evaluation to rule out any peptic ulcer disease and get started on further treatment to control the symptoms. You may also try taking antacids to see if it helps with your symptoms. Avoid spicy and fatty foods. Avoid leaving stomach empty for more than 3 hours. Avoid citrus fruits and fruit drinks, caffeinated and carbonated beverages. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/healthcare provider and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
