For about 2 weeks now i have been having cramps in my upper abdominal area right below my rib cage as well as a tightness in the center of my ribcage. In addition I have also been feeling and hearing my stomach rumbling. I am also feeling some nausea. My PCP palpated my stomach and gave my the regular checkup. He didn't noticed anything abnormal. Also i haven't had any vomiting or severe diarrhea. The symptoms seem worse when I sit down and not as bad when I lay down or stand.
As far as treatments I have tried Pepto , Pepcid and Zantac non of which have really seemed to help that much.

Hello, and thank you for your medical question on e Health Forum.

The symptoms described could be signs of pancreatic or gall bladder inflammation.

You might benefit by getting tests like a a ultrasound or a CT scan, which can help to detect the exact causes of your symptoms.
