Hi, and thanks for your query on eHealth forum!

The intercourse two days before your periods cannot cause pregnancy. However, you can become pregnant by other episodes. So take a pregnancy test and see. Sometimes physical and mental stress or illness can cause a shorter than normal period. So, if you are not pregnant, that may be the cause. The pain could be due to gas, infection or due to wrong posture or even due to start of food poisoning (if you had loose stool or vomiting after that).

Please consult your healthcare provider for further guidance. This reply to your query is just for education and counseling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit and treatment by a doctor who can examine you. Hope this helped you in making an informed decision about your health. Take care!
