Stage 4 Cancer- pancreatic

My Grandfather just recently was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and it's spreading through the body. Now he's had a few strokes and not eating and not being able to even talk. I just want to know what is stage 4 and how serious is it

Unfortunately, that means that his pancreatic cancer has already spread outside of his pancreas. When this happens, this type of cancer is, sadly, no longer curable.

I am sorry to hear of his illness.
