User Profile
I am supposed to get my period on october 24th. But on the 13th i started spotting. I am not sure if this is because i forgot to take my birth control 2 days in a row so took 3 on the same day. The same day i started spotting. Does this mean i could be pregnant?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you miss taking 2 or more than 2 active pills in your birth control pill pack, you can experience withdrawal bleeding and also be at risk for pregnancy. Observe the spotting that you describe. If it becomes heavy or remains persistent, go ahead with getting further evaluation done to look for any other abnormalities. If you plan to have intercourse, use additional protection to remain protected. Wait and watch for your periods/withdrawal bleeding. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation and assistance. Be regular with taking your birth control pills at scheduled time daily.
Take care.
