For most women, their first pregnancy symptom is a missed period. Your hormones are what create pregnancy symptoms and it takes your body awhile to create those hormones.

Cramping can be a sign of pregnancy, but it can also be your period, pms or an infection.

Symptoms are NOT good indicators of pregnancy. Especially what women like to term 'early symptoms'. They could mean various things.

Read up on your own fertility. It will help you a great deal in understanding when you might be fertile, but also what to expect from your body.

When is your period due?

Mark the first day of every period on the calendar. Count the days between the first day of every period. That is how you keep track of how often you have your period.
