When a condom breaks, you can get pregnant. If he kept on thrusting until he ejaculated and did not realize the condom broke, the spermicide will likely have had very little effect.

When a condom breaks, use emergency contraceptives like Plan B. Every couple using condoms should have at least one dose of emergency contraceptives in the medicine cabinet.

He also needs to figure out why the condoms are breaking, too big or too small, not enough lubrication, damaged or expired, not put on correctly, wrong type of lube. If he feels the condom tightening around his head, he should stop. That is a sure sign that something is wrong.

Only a pregnancy test can say if you are pregnant. Best of luck!

We have never had this problem with any other condoms just the spermicidal ones. as to the plan b pill, i will never take that again it makes me extremely sick, so bad i was in the hospital for 2 days. will the spermicide kill what ever sperm did get in? and is a 2 days light period considered a period?

Spermicide will only kill sperm that comes into contact with it. A spermicidal condom does not contain a lot, and it is in the head. When a condom breaks (normally the penis head goes through the side of the condom) some will obviously come out and kill sperm. It can however not kill all the sperm and it does not go into your cervix.

In order to determine if something is your normal menstruation, you need to compare it with your usual menstruation. Did these two days of bleeding come when you expected it? How does it compare to a normal period in the flow pattern, color/consistency/smell, length and volume? What about PMS?

As soon as your period is late, you can take an early detection test like First Results. Use the second stick 7 days later to confirm the earlier results. If these 2 days came earlier than expected, be sure to do a pregnancy test if you think you can be pregnant.

Best of luck!
