Hi, I am on day 13 of my period and my nipples are very sore. Is this a sign of ovulation or pregnancy?

Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out. The soreness of the nipples usually occurs either during the premenstrual period or with the onset of pregnancy. Normally, it is not seen with the ovulation. However, if you had had unprotected sexual intercourse, then it makes sense to wait for your periods. In case, you miss your periods, then urine for pregnancy test should be done for the confirmation of pregnancy. If you don’t want to wait, then a serum beta HCG levels can also be done.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
