Welcome to the forum. I am really glad to help you out.

Surgery or no surgery, smoking is an expensive and a very harmful habit. Hence, being a doctor, I can never encourage you to pick up a cigarette for a whole plethora of harmful effects it can produce.

Smoking can produce not only almost every cancer in the body but also promotes diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.

It also interferes in the healing of the wounds and thus please don’t smoke. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
