small bump on my bottom left side of head

Hi my name is hazel and I'm 16. I have a lump on my bottom left head. It hurts when I put my head back and i have headaches only on my left side. I feel something hard and I'm pretty worried. I have no allergies and no other problems like this in the past. No body in my family has ever had a tumor or cancer. Do you think the lump is a tumor or cancerous ? Because I'm very worried and to scared to go to the doctor

Welcome to e health forum.

Lumps within the scalp of your lower head or upper neck which are slow growing could be either due to cysts or due to collection of fat tissue (Lipomas).

Most lipomas are usually painless.

Presence of pain or discomfort , redness is most likely due to possible infection in a cyst. A infected cyst can progress to a abscess which may spread locally and become complicated.

Since it cannot be confirmed without a physical examination about your condition, it would be recommended that you consult with a doctor or dermatologist and seek proper medical opinion.

I hope this helps.
