Hi, I have a weird hard bump on lower right of my abdomen. Like 1-2 inch above my hip bone. The bump has appeared out of nowhere and it hasn't changed at all. It's sore on touch and has a red colour to it but apart from that there's no other symptoms really.

I am worried it's a hernia or something but I haven't been that physically active lately compared to how I was a few years ago deadlifting every other day ( and I would imagine it would be more painful).

Hope someone can help, cheers.

Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

The link to the image was not opening. Based on your description alone, It's unlikely to be a hernia if there is no visible lump. However, physical examination for it can confirm it. It appears to be a skin / subcutaneous lesion. The area needs to be examined for possible infectious cause and be treated accordingly.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
