I have had a small round brown mole by my eye for years, same size never changed. I also have another small mole on my face above my lip which some people call a beauty mark. Have had it since I was a little girl, never changes. However, the one by my eye recently has pointed out a little and there is a small white spot in middle. It is still brown, it's just like it poked out a little and this white spot appeared. I've read the spot might be a hair follicle, but wanted to ask.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
This white lesion is milia. Its benign lesion and doesn't require any treatment.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
