Hi, I have a persistent problem with skin rashes, welts and spots around the beard area of my face. I also have a tingling/pins and needles sensation that comes and goes on different areas of my face. Sometimes feeling like a burning sensation. I am 40 and have had this problem for 10 years. Prior to that no problem, no acne or similar, or beard problems. Over the 10 years it has got gradually got worse. I believe it started with itchy eyes and itchy nose (internal nostrils only), which has somehow spread to cause the other problems. I believe the spots and rashes are a secondary reaction. Any help you could offer would be gratefully received. Thanks Tim

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
This could be due to eczema or systemic illness.
I would suggest you to have fasting blood sugar, liver function tests, complete blood count and ultrasound abdomen to look for systemic illness.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
