So as of the last week, the skin on the back of my hands has been doing weird things. It's extremely dry, flaky, very hard like sandpaper, spreading and causing wrinkles to my skin. It's also darkening. My sister has eczema and our symptoms are not the same. Her skin develops boils and itches. My skin is just extremely dry, cracked and flaky. Nothing I am doing is out of the ordinary. And I don't live in a super cold climate. I live in Phoenix, AZ. I apply the usual lotion or hand cream regularly. I wash my hands with dial antibacterial hand soap all the time. I also use antibacterial wipes when I am out in public. I have never had any issues with my skin. Since experiencing this dryness, I have used the Lush Valcano salt scrub and shea butter and nothing is helping. It's still extremely dry, hard like sandpaper, flaky and overall ugly. It doesn't itch at all. I actually lost the sensation of my touch when I gently run my finger over it. I wish I can post a photo. Any tips on what I can do to combat this or what this might be on the backs of my hands? Thanks!

Sorry. I am using the Lush Ocean Salt. Not the Valcano mask.
