Skin Cancer Question

User Profile
I have a mole which has developed s red rash around it. (The mole itself is not irrwgular and has not changed at all it simply now has this red rash) I suffer with psoriasis so I thought it might be that. However recently I looked up a condition called a meyerson navus and the symptoms and the pictures are virtually identical. Would I be correct in this observation and if so is it worth going to my GP or not? As I am somewhat worried of it being a more serious condition like melanoma.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
You are right. It seems meyerson nevus. Its benign condition and doesnot require any treatment. Just close observation is needed.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
