Skin Cancer Question

User Profile
My all scalp is red and itchy, also scaly; after a biopsy, I was told to put on FLUOROURACIL 5% CREAM; not clear how long to keep it on: all night?
My main concern since I was told by the pharmacist that my skin will peel off, is: WILL I LOSE MY HAIR?
I am 87 years old and my hair is thin and curly. No gray hair hardly.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
It doesnot cause much hair fall because of its low dosage.Even if it does, its reversible.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
