I had an MRI of my brain and orbits.
1.Everything was clear in brain and orbits however it said the cavernous sinues show symmetric enhancement. What does that mean?
2. The paranasal sinuses demonstrate some membrane thickening but no air fluid levels. What does this mean?
Thank you!

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!
Cavernous sinus is vascular structure, hence it will enhance after giving contrast. Therefore, symmetrical enhancement is normal finding. Membrane thickening of sinuses indicate chronic inflammation. Clinical correlation is needed for exact diagnosis.
