User Profile
Submental limp nodes I understand that there a few submental gland is it possible for you to feel just one lump or should the group of glands be enlarged? I have been referred onto an Endraconoligist due to be extremely tired, having headaches, diarrhea, lightheadedness/dizziness, burn ups/fevers, enlarged glands mostly on my right side under my jaw but lately I can feel pressure in my back throat. Tonight I found what I think maybe a substantial gland that feels solid roughly pea size but only the one? Curious could this little node be what's cause all my problems? Also my thyroid levels came back perfect, I'm type 1 diabetic & celiac. Thanks you

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Submental nodes can swell even in a cold, flu or a sore throat and many other benign conditions. All you need is some ibuprofen , salt water gargles and garlic water mouth rinses and adequate fluids intake. Diarrhea is sometimes a sequelae of sore throat and not a concern.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
