I have been having sharp pains in front of my left ear on and off for about 8 years now. They can last minutes to days, and are increasing in frequency. I notice them more when I begin to feel stressed or upset. What bothers me the most is that I have a mole near where the pain is coming from, which is black and has hair growing from it. The mole has always been there and is flat and has been black since I was a teenager. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the pain and the mole could be related, and if not, what else could the pain mean? I can't get to the doctor for a month and I can't seem to relax about this situation.
