My family is convinced I had a "stomach bug", but I thought it might be wise to get a second opinion.
Early Tuesday morning at 2AM, I woke up having to throw up so bad I didn't even make it to the bathroom. I went downstairs to the couch to be closer to the bathroom and threw up thrice more, and every time was a near miss. I slept for three hours after that and woke up to an extremely painful upper abdominal cramp, which was followed by vomiting. I got up and made myself a glass of water and ate a banana, after which I vomited again. I threw up something like 12 times after that and had SEVERE abdominal cramping all day. It would wake me from sleep and cause me to cry out. I ate nothing, and I couldn't even take any medicine. I had diarrhea and sometimes vomited at the same time.
The last time I threw up was last night around 9PM after my boyfriend tried to convince me to eat a piece of toast. I couldn't even finish one bite before promptly ejecting it. I fell asleep around 11:30; but I had been laying down and taking short naps all day. I woke up all through the night screaming and moaning because I was hurting so bad. The cramps have weakened and are farther apart but they are still affective. Also, I have been taking antibiotics for a UTI but didn't take them yesterday or today, and I just urinated and my pee was brown. Is that not abnormal?
Thanks for your time
Brooke

Are you pregnant? I only ask because you posted under the "complications during pregnancy' board. If you aren't, there could be many causes for your stomach pain. Do you have a fever? That may indicate something severe, such as appendicitis. If not, it could just be a 'stomach bug' as your family suggested. Is the pain localized in one spot or your entire abdomen? Since there can be so many causes, I am going to pass on this website which may help you in determing whether or not to see your doctor:

yes, I am pregnant. The symptoms have gone away and I think my stomach was cramping because I was throwing up so much.

the dye in the little brown pill that they give you for an uti turns the urine a darker shade and eventually looks like high lighter yellow. It is normal.
