Severe pain 11 weeks after Hysterectomy.

I had a total hysterectomy on March 31, 2010. My check ups were all good according to my surgeon. i still had pain all along, but I've been in severe pain the past few days.Back to taking Darvocet, instead of Motrin.
It hurts right in my lower abdomen. The Dr. left my ovaries. and that seems to be where the pain is. I constantly urinate and it hurts. Feels like a lot of pressure when I go. And it takes forever for me to empty my bladder. My doctor was aware of this on my last check up 3 weeks ago. He said everything is fine and he will see me in 3 weeks..I had a pelvic CAT SCAN a week ago for an unrelated issue. That Dr told me that I had cysts on my ovaries.

I know there is something wrong. But I don't want to call my surgeon, cause it seems like he thinks I'm lying..and he seemed to rush me out at my last visit.

I know what I am feeling. I also wasn't explained in depth about all the problems with my surgery. It was suppose to take an hour and lasted 3 1/2...

Please help...

Hi Michelew71 and welcome to ehealth: I think you should have a visit with your OB-GYN or surgeon who performed this surgery...These are legitimate questions that you want answered....IMO, severe pain this long is not normal...However, I am not a professional and can only speak as a lay person who has had this surgery...Take care...
