Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

According to the description provided by you it seems you are suffering from Seborrheic dermatitis which is common on oily scalp and along with that yeast infection may also be present. Physical examination helps in exact diagnosis.

For treating it various antifungal medications orally and for topical application as Ketconazole are advised. Along with that shampoo containing Selenium sulphide is also to be applied weekly. You can use OTC available Ketconazole containing shampoo and apply on the scalp and then leave for 5 mts.Use regularly and follow general hygeinic measures. If symptoms are persistent consider visiting a Physician for evaluation.

Take care!
