I may try a different brand of pregnancy test or go to a doctor for a blood test.

It can be that you need to wait a few days before testing again or it could have been a chemical pregnancy - an egg starting to implant and then being rejected by the body because of some genetic problems with the egg. This happens frequently but are only noticed by women testing every day. The symptoms are a positive pregnancy test followed by a negative test. Your period may also arrive slightly later and be heavier after this but it does not necessarily have to change from your normal periods.

It doesn't sound like you actually got a positive.

The positive needs to come up within the time limit, anything that comes up afterwards is not the real test result. The two positives that showed up after the orignal result of a negative is called an evaporation line.
