I am 21 years old and I have severe back and neck pain. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. I have been to neurologist, chiropractor, physical therapist, general surgeon and I have had numerous tests done. All that has been found is that my cervical spine is straight rather than having the natural curve to it. The pain is located in the neck/back/ shoulder area. And I also have a hump where the pain resonates. It feels like I have icy hot on my neck...a tingly, hot feeling in my upper back/neck and pressure in my lower back. I am healthy and active in the gym lifting weights and it doesn’t bother me, but the pain comes when I stand for a couple minutes. As a 21 year old, I should be able to stand on my feet for 15 minutes without being in extreme pain. If anyone can help me I would be so grateful. Thank you for your time.

Hello and welcome to EHF !

I went through your query and i understand your concern. Straightening of spine is possible cause of this pain. All rheumatological causes like ankylosing spondylitis and other possibilities will help. Consult a spine surgeon and let them decide what is best for you

Take care
