Asthma is a chronic lung disease that involves inflammation of the airways. It presents with shortness of breath wheezing particularly at night. treatment depends upon the severity. Bronchodilators Inhaled steroids and oral corticosteroids are used in the management. Ltr1 antagonist are also an option. In severe cases monoclonals like omalizumab may be advised In consultation with your doctor
