scheduled to have Basil Joint Arthroplasty

I'm scheduled to have this surgery at the end of March on my dominant right hand. I'm still not sure if I want to go through with it. Yes I have pain doing common everyday things. I'm mostly concerned about going through the long recovery process and want to know that it is worth it. I'm 57 years old and am concerned that it will only get worse as I get older. Can someone who has had this surgery at least a year ago tell me how you are doing now? Was it worth it? I appreciate any response.
