saw blood but it was lighter than my regular period?

i had unprotected sex with my bf and he ejaculated in me on April 18,2012 and today April 26 , 2012 i have period like pains and i saw blood but it was lighter than my regular period could i be pregnant and what is the possibility of getting pregnant ?

Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

Since you had unprotected intercourse so possibility of pregnancy is high and chances are more if it was during the ovulation days.You should have considered taking Morning after pill in such case.If your periods were due and the bleeding is lighter in flow and duration and not like regular period flow then possibility of conception is present.

Get a Urine test done for pregnancy determination.You can also get a Blood hcg test done after a week of the expected period date as it gives confirmatory results.Kindly visit a Gynaecologist for evaluation and consider using some form of contraceptive regularly for pregnancy prevention.
