Hello and welcome to e health forum.

Pain and progressive enlargement of the testicle could be a sign of infection. It could also be due to conditions like hydrocele or hematoma (due to collection of blood following trauma).

Other causes of severe pain and redness in a testes, is due to Torsion, which is a emergency situation, needing immediate surgery.

You may need a consultation with your doctor who can examine you and provide a proper diagnosis and advice.

In the mean time you can take anti inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or Naprosyn, to reduce the pain and swelling.
