Vaginal bleeding after intercourse or Post coital vaginal bleeding is more common, when the vaginal hymen is intact, very rigid and when the vaginal lubrication is very less. Much severe bleeding is due to vaginal mucosal tears which occurred during Rough sex. In most cases the bleeding would stop within a few days as the mucosal tears heal completely. In future, take precautions and use water based lubricants, which may prevent such recurrences.

In some cases, if the bleeding is continues for more than 24 hours, it would be a indicator of vaginal mucosal injury.

it would be recommended that you consult with your OBGYN doctor and seek a proper medical opinion.

I hope this helps.
