Today I noticed randomly that there was a red/purpleish line coming down the middle of my forehead in between my eyebrows, and stopping where my nose begins. I did not bump, scratch, or burn it. This just happened on its own. I was hoping you could help me on why this happened and hot to remove it.

The more that needs to be examined for any possible growth lesion or evidence of trauma/ insect bite. The appearance is also common with a vein in many people and is completely normal requiring no treatment.

It is very hard to know without seeing him...

I understand you have already seen your GP and HV and they are unsure.

Some birthmarks fade over time, if you are still concerned when he turns one or it becomes more prominent or troublesome for him, please go back to you GP.

He is a gorgeous little one isn't he
