Red circle grid pattern on back

My fianc has a grid pattern on his back of red circles. The circles are about 1 cm across. Perfectly aligned.
I've read so many articles about alien abductions and doctors saying it's some sort of hives. It's not
No itching, no burning, no blistering, no cracking, no swelling, or sinking of the skin.
There is nothing he layed on, leaned against or got hit by...
Can someone please give a logical answer?
It looks like blood vessels but such perfect grid circles???
Help!

Thank you for asking!
It may be anything from dermatological aspects but not alien abduction.
Rest if not bothering with any symptom and still there, get a professional dermatologist have a glance at them and i am sure they will come up with something.
The most logical answer is that it is some dermatological manifestation and a complete history and detailed physical examination and a clinical correlation will sort it out for sure.
Take care and say good bye to alienated thoughts.
