Recurrent swollen inguinal lymph nodes

Hi .. i am a 25 year old girl who is otherwise healthy has a inguinal lymph node swelling which is recurrent like it comes stays for 3-4 days and goes off then again after 4 days it comes back ...swelling measures about 1.5-2 cms...it is there for past 3 months and this is the 9th time i am getting it.. it is very slightly painful.. am terrified thinking that this s cancer. Pls help.

I read your question and i understand your concern. Inguinal lymph nodes are mostly harmless and due to local pathologies like genital infections etc. Remitting recurrent nodes of groin are not cancer. Adapt good hygiene and consult a doctor and let them sort out other differentials.
