recently started re-using Nuvaring

I have recently started re-using Nuvaring after two months of pause from it. I inserted the ring two weeks after my period and I was wondering: 1) am I going to be protected after 7 days? (Or just because I'm totally off my period I have to wait for a new cycle+new ring?) 2) ovulation may have already occured (before inserting the ring). I haven't found any information about this, but will I be protected regardless of when the ovulation took place?

Thank you for asking

After placing protection is enough after 7 days. Till that emergency contraception for any coitus is advised. No waiting for next periods.

Stay protected and keep good care of toilet and coitl hygiene.
Good luck.
