This isn't an allergic reaction to the dentures, but, irritation of your tongue that has resulted in painful or sore tongue.
Actually, this condition is known as a burning mouth syndrome, and one of the trigger factors is wearing dentures (dentures can place stress on tongue muscles and tissues and the materials used in dentures also can cause tongue irritation).
