Welcome to ehealthforum and thanks for writing

Rash between the tongue and teeth could be an ulcer over the base of the tongue or a candid infection (also called as Oral thrush). Both of these conditions present with severe pain with difficulty in swallowing. It requires a direct physical examination to comment regarding the cause.

I would suggest you to drink plenty of warm water, as it improves the blood circulation and reduces the inflammation.Take Vitamin B complex medications once a day for 5 days.If there is development of other symptoms as pain, white patch development, fever or it does not subside on its own then you might require other medications for treatment.

In that case consider visiting a Physician for direct evaluation.

Take care!
