Random discoloration of skin on my public mound...

Hey so about a year ago I had this large patch of discolored skin appear on my public mound... it's not itchy or raised and feels like normal skin except for the fact that it almost looks like a birth mark. I've went to the doctor 4 times since and had testing done for all sorts of things. I'm too young to get a pap smear so I've never had one before. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?? I've been diagnosed with BV and taken my medication if that means anything

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Color discoloration on pubis with all the work up normal is local itching, friction bump, ingrown hair or fordyce spot. Its unlikely to be herpes or wart if no unprotected coitus history. Good coital and toilet habits are recommended.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
