quit marijuana, sleeping irregularly, wide awake for days

okay im 20 years old somewhat active and eat regularly, and i maintain a healthy body weight. so heres my concern.. ive been smoking marijuana since i was 15 because i slept good.. so every night before bed. 2 months ago i had quit smoking to get a job and since then i have been sleeping irregularly... staying wide awake for two days straight then crashing for a whole day and up for another 2 days again. do you have any clue what could be wrong or what i can do? this has been going on since theday i quit smokeing

Yes, sleep disturbances are common after quitting marijuana, but that is a great step you took. Also, you should see a doctor about this. Eat healthy, drink plenty of fluids, and exercise in the evening, so that you are tired enough to get good sleep. Also, it may help to join support group to help overcome this phase. Hope this helps.
