Quick Question: wisdom teeth extraction and cold

Quick question:

my sister has made an appointment to the dentist to remove a wisdom tooth. The dentist says it is expected to be a simple procedure as the wisdom tooth is not impacted. Only local anesthetic is going to be used.

Now my question is the following: my sister has a cold, nothing serious, just a sore throat, stuffy nose and some chills.

Should she go to the dentist or not?

Is there going to be any problem with the whole procedure due to her cold?

Hi nefeli and welcome to ehealth: If she is concerned about this have her call her dentist...This would be the wisest thing to do...Take care...
