psa level has risent to 17

I have had prostate cancer for the past 8 years and have been taking medication,however my psa level has risent to 17 and now I have to decide if the 3 monthly injection or the yearly implant is the next course of treatment,I would be grateful for any advice on any of these treatments

Both the injections and the implants that you mentioned belong to the same class of hormonal therapy medications (LHRH Agonists), and so they have the same effects on prostate cancer cells (they shut down the production of testosterone in the testes).
