I have been using Dr. Allen's Device for BHP since January 2014.
It is supposed to shrink an enlarged prostate over time.
My question is:
Anyone on this forum using or has used Dr. Allen's Device?

I have mild enlargement. I am now 61 yrs of age. Doctor has given me Rapilif 8 but it has side effects. So I am also thinking to use Dr Allen's Device but don;t have any idea.

Can you tell me your improvement?

I've been using the Device since Jan 2014 and am going back to my urologist in August to see if the size as changed. Meanwhile I am doing self cauterization and no drugs.

went to urologist in August 2014 after wearing Device for 225 days in row.
results are that my prostate as continued to enlarge.
Sent Device people an email- have not heard back.
I consider the Device a scam.
I don't believe there are any drugs or supplements that will shrink the prostate.
Am going to a urologist in September to discuss doing one of the out patient procedures.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
I have seen many patients who have used this device for years with no positive response.
Surgery is the ultimate option.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
