prolonged ovulation age 53

im 53 and is scheduled for hyterectomy due to hyerplasia. according to my OB im having hormonal imbalance. ive been experiencing nervousness/anxiety and backaches. consulted a psychiatrist anf now under treatment.tuatvisvwhybim not yrt clearee for hysyerectomy. Lately, i skipped my menstruation but had a prolonged menstruation.Is this normal?

I read your question and i understand your concern.
Yes,this is normal as menstrual cycle coming to an end ,the hormonal balance become disturbed that lead to these changes.
